Workshops: Connect and Create - Las Fotos Project

On Saturday, August 29, Corita Art Center is pleased to host a unique found photography workshop in partnership with Las Fotos Project. In the latest installment of our Corita 101 workshop series, Las Fotos Project teaching artist, Kenzie Floyd, will instruct participants how to use a thermal camera (AKA “receipt camera”) to create instant monochromatic photo printouts.

This workshop is a collaborative group project, and everyone who attends will leave with an accordion book of their own to commemorate this time and place and group of people.

‍

Each participant is to bring a selection of personal photos that speak to the theme of transition, tradition or celebration (physical photographs or photos on phone screens will work just fine).
